Tackle it Tuesday

Today, for me, is all about the little things. You know how you have those little things that need to get done, but because they are so little they just keep getting pushed off? So here is my list of "little things"

** wash the shelf that my kid's toothbrushes are on
**vacum the stairs
** wash my oven mitts (seriously they were getting nasty!)
** clearing off my dresser
** clean off my desk so it resembles the time it did when I first tackled it! :)
**update my calender & planner
** clean out my "to go" basket ( next to the door that always accumulates with things like sunglasses, sunscreen, mail etc)

first 4 down..only 3 more to go!

Great job on the tackles. The little things certainally add up to be big projects at times!

I agree. Sometimes those little things keep getting put off b/c you figure they are so little you can do them some other time when you have 5 minutes. Great job so far! Keep up the good work!

Good luck on getting all your little things done. Sometimes they take more time than the bigger things.

Oh,no! You just reminded me about MY oven mitts -- mine are seriously nasty, too. Hmmm... Maybe I will throw them in the washer. (Would that qualify for next weeks' tackle??)

Blessings, Beckie :0)

I once read that if you take the time to take care of the little things in life such as these, that it takes your stress level down considerably. The theory was when we leave little jobs undone they eat away at some little nagging part of our mind, using up energy even when we're not consciously thinking of them. It actually kind of made sense to me. (But I still always have a to-do list a mile long, LOL!)

So, anyways, that's my long-winded comment just to say "great tackle"-- it must feel good to get those little things all taken care of! :)
