Bye bye

(Stephanie, Line and I)
(so cute! Harmony and Freddy were wearing matching shirts...and they are the same height!)

(Line and Grace..." we only sing at church"

(singing Livin' on a prayer!)

(I can't get my pictures to rotate! This is our total island baby, rockin' out to the music!)
( 2 of the Moran boys rockin' out!)

(ok so not the best picture of Stephanie! lol She is Mason's "Phillapino Mom")

( I interrupted them mid conversation!)

(Such a fun group! Love you all! )

I wanted to have a going away party, but decided it wouldn't be good manners to throw a party for myself. Luckily, my friend Stephanie had one for us! We had a great time, laughing, talking, eating pancit, and doing video-karaoke. The kids had a blast staying up late running around with their friends. By the time we got ready to go, Ivan was half asleep on their couch! We are going to miss our fun Guam friends! Thanks for the memories! (:

Memories

So two things happened today(other than the Ivan thing in the post below). I caught up with an old roommate of mine from Ricks!!! Oh how I love facebook! :) And I checked out her blog, and she had this video. Which brought back another memory for me.

Right before we left Norfolk, I was able to go to a Time Out For Women with a group of friends. It was a fabulous weekend of good friends, good food, good girl talk, inspiration and more. But one thing that had me laughing so hard, was when Hillary Weeks sang this song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!

Craaaaazy!

I had the coolest experience today and I just have to share. I told Ben but he was not very excited. Ok so here goes...I grew up in a really small town. But there was an even smaller town a little away from my hometown called Lyle. I had a good friend who lived there and so I actually knew a lot of kids from that high school. Fast forward until now....

There is a girl that I have seen on base. And I just knew she looked familiar. I would kind of stare her down every time I did see her trying to figure it out. Today Harmony and I went up to a craft fair (btw got some fun stuff) and she was there. She saw me and said, " Do I know you from somewhere?" And I told her that is what I was thinking too. She asked if I was in boot camp with her and I tried really hard not to laugh. But I asked if she was from Lyle and she said yes. I was in shock. Once we exchanged our maiden names it all came into place. Is that not cool? How many thousands of miles are we from home and I meet someone from Lyle? It was crazy! I got her business card and so I can't wait to catch up. :)

How cool is that story?! It's a small world!

thank you

I can not believe the overwhelming amount of support that I have been getting. Some from friends and family that I have known for a long time. And others who I have known for a very short time. Everyone has been so kind and I just want you to know that it is appreciated and it means so much to me. With Ben being gone, I have felt kind of alone in all this. And now I know it's not true. I know that we have so many people who care about us. I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone.

that's what little boys are made of...

(at Connor's birthday party)
When I think of little boys, a few things come to mind...dirt, sticks, dirty hands, treasures in their pockets, secrets, puppies, mud and more. I have a special place in my heart for little boys...maybe because I have three of them. But there is one little boy, who is not mine, but who just makes me melt. He is adorable. He is Connor's best friend Keegan.

Keegan lives about 5 doors down from us. He is also in Connor's class at school. These boys are literally "as thick as thieves". They are constantly playing together. They search for treasures ( one days finds were a piece of metal, a bottle cap and a marker), they put sticks in to mud puddles, they "camp" in the parking lot by the park, they play bad guys and good guys, Star Wars, build Legos and more. Somedays these play dates end in, "see you tomorrow Connor!" Other days they end in, "we are not best friends anymore", although they quickly forget.

I am so glad that we live in housing where the kids are never hurting for someone to play with. Keegan is one of those fun kids. Today Connor came up to me and said, " do you want to hear what me and Keegan made up?"

"sure"

"ok, I say pinch, poke you owe me a coke!" And then Keegan says," a circle, a dot, I do NOT!" And Connor just giggles and walks away.

Precious memories. Precious boys.
