Just wanted to let everyone know, I got an email from Ben last night. He made it to East Timor and is all settled in his hotel. Apparently the hotels don't have phones. Hmmm...so he is going to buy a local cell phone. So until then I don't know much. But I know he made it. Phew.
** Funny story, Ben was reading some travel blogs about East Timor and one of the people who were writing said that they had been their twice. The second time was so much better because they now offered such amenities as toilet paper and chocolate. Doesn't that sound like a place you want to be?!
