So I mentioned in my 4th of July post that well...there would be no fireworks. You would think that the one man on the island who knew how to do it, would have trained someone else but apparently not. We went down to a beach called Polaris Point. They had a lot of booths set up so that the kids had plenty of things to do. So here are a few things I learned this year...
1.) Laser light shows have nothing on fireworks.
2.) Connor will sit in any cool car he can find.
3.) You should really bring a lot of bug spray.
4.) Don't expect the kids to finish a whole snow cone.
5.) tatoos and face painting should not cost $1
6.) "Eye of the Tiger" sounds so much better LIVE!
